Transport insurance reduces the risk
Unless otherwise agreed, we order your goods FOB (Free on Board). This means that the Chinese manufacturer delivers the goods to the warehouse of the transport service provider. Until the goods are handed over to the carrier, the manufacturer is responsible for the goods.
After that, the transport service provider takes over the responsibility. Ships sink, containers go overboard, pirates board ships or goods disappear in the port. All this happens very rarely. Nevertheless, you should protect yourself against such failures with transport insurance.
